SO WHO'S THE GAMIN' GEEK?
We apologize for any delay in reporting the results of the Useless Game Knowledge Challenge. Besides the garden-variety excuse of "oh, we were sick with bronchitis and had a lot of work to do" and other whiny crap you probably don't care about in your insatiable demand for updates to the page, we got bitten in the tuckus by the trivia hydra. 'Cause not only were there a few alternate right answers, we discovered there were a lot of wrong ones that sounded almost right unless you hunted the little monkeys down.
And if you take enough Robitussin with honey, you can see the little monkeys too.
It seems the gamer with Too Much Free Time on His Hands goes by the name of Charlie Collins (at least from his CMU account.) Whether or not this is a title to be proud of is irrelevant: the man is getting free product. Coming in second was Bailey Watts, and the special "Sarcasm Award" goes to Todd Leistra, who sent in amusing (one might say "wise-ass" if one had a sense of humor, which we do not) answers to each question.
Charlie has requested that our next How to Use These Books apply to the Origins-Award-winning Shadowrun adventure set "Harlequin" and any commentary we can give on its sequel, "Harlequin's Back." "Harlequin" is out of print, but since we own both of the adventures, have played through the former (which is eight adventures long), and gamemastered both it and its five-adventure sequel twice, we're gonna do a job for Mr. Collins.
See ya when I write it, and may you never digest your Inner Geek. --Chris
